I come from a blue-collar background, working in construction with my father, Scott Harding, from an early age. That experience instilled the work ethic I carry with me today. At 17, I left for Oklahoma to pursue my dream of becoming a professional cowboy. A bit of a long shot coming from a small town in Northern Maine, but I was determined to make it happen.
In 2014, I made that dream a reality. I left my life in Maine behind, learned the trade of shoeing horses, and was hired by a world champion cutting horse trainer. I spent four years out west, working for one of the highest-earning trainers of all time and helping another trainer win a world championship. After that run, I felt I had achieved my dream and decided it was time to settle down.
I moved back to Maine for a little while and little did I know that would change my life again. I had intended on learning real estate and working with my father but things changed when I met my now wife. She was determined to move to Florida and complete her degree in the veterinary field and me being up for an adventure and also knowing this was the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with I took a leap of faith and decided to go with her.
I moved to Tampa Bay in 2018 and went back to school for HVAC/R, determined once again to make a name for myself. I graduated at the top of my class and was hired by an engineering and controls company. Traveling across the U.S. to set up control systems for stores like Walmart and Costco was exciting, but I wanted to be home in Florida. I wanted to stay local, connect with the community, and build a life in the place I called home. So, I left the controls job to work for a local HVAC company, and it finally felt like I was headed in the right direction.
Through that work, I got to know the Bay Area inside and out, meeting people from all walks of life and helping them stay cool. I began to feel like I was truly making a difference in my community and building a name for myself.
While I was living the dream out west, my father transitioned from building homes to selling them. Talking with him, I realized the impact he was making—helping develop and grow our small New England town into what it is today. That inspired me. With his encouragement, I took a leap of faith to chase a new dream. But this time, it wasn’t just about me—it was about helping people like you.
My new dream is to guide people toward finding their first home, family home, or vacation retreat. I remember how stressful it was when I bought my first house, with all the moving parts, paperwork, and decisions. I wanted to make that journey easier for others. In December 2021, I earned my real estate license.
Since then, I’ve been honored to work alongside my father, brother-in-law, and other team members, helping people along Florida’s west coast achieve their dream of homeownership. Every day, I strive to help others reach their goals and shape the community I care about.
So, what do you get when you work with me? Confidence, work ethic, determination—and a friend. Whatever your real estate goals or dreams may be, it’s my mission to make them a reality.
